Previously, Za’abeel was a large area of barren land but after witnessing the development of the Za’abeel Palace of the ruling family, it oversaw numerous other developments too. Presently, the area is home to the Zabeel Park and a variety of villas and townhouses while residential and mixed-use towers are undergoing construction.
